Aneda Zablocki:
An Angel Among Us

Every Tuesday and Wednesday morning, you can find Aneda Zablocki at the Shoreline Campus of CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital volunteering in Cardiac Rehab. Before she began helping in Cardiac Rehab, she worked several years in the Volunteer Office, a position that came very easy for someone with more than 25 years experience as a legal secretary. Aneda has volunteered at CHRISTUS Spohn for the past 17 years and has no plans to stop.

Being very passionate about CHRISTUS Spohn’s healing mission, Aneda gives of her whole self—her time, talent and treasure.  She has the distinguished honor of having given the first ever Charitable Gift Annuity to the CHRISTUS Spohn Foundation. A charitable gift annuity is a way to make a gift to your favorite charity, and still receive an income for yourself or others.

When asked what she loves most about CHRISTUS Spohn, Aneda will quickly tell you she loves the Sisters and she loves attending Mass at the Welder Chapel. She also loves knowing her gift will continue to help people even when she no longer can. Being with Aneda makes you believe in the lyrics of the country song, Angels Among Us,…to show you how to live, to teach us how to give. To guide us with the light of love.”
