Chesapeake
Bay Week
First started in 2005, Chesapeake Bay Week is a concentrated
effort of MPT to raise public awareness of critical issues and significant pleasures
of this extraordinary regional asset. Viewers are educated and engaged through
this amalgamation of newly-created documentaries, special editions of locally-produced
programs, distinctive spots and web content. Contact us for information about

Science/Math Deficit & American Survival — An Educational
Challenge
America's lead in scientific fields was key to our prosperity
in the 20th Century. Today, the number of math and science-related jobs is multiplying
at three times the rate of other professions. To keep up and stay ahead, we must
engage women in these fields. The best way to do that is to engage women during
their middle-school years. MPT currently seeks funds to explore with key content
partners the feasibility and impact of an initiative to engage young citizens,
especially girls, through broadcast and video-on-demand programming, podcasts,
interactive educational games, blogs, community outreach programs and online field
trips. Funds are currently being sought to explore this concept further. Let us
